Dr. Stein featured at Dallas Fort Worth Business Group on Health Forum

Daniel Stein, CEO and Founder of Embold Health, presented at the Dallas Fort Worth Business Group on Health (DFWBGH) Corporate Benefits Forum on April 7th.  The forum, “Walmart Takes the High Road with High Performance Networks (HPN)” addresses head on the challenges that employers are facing with constrained budgets, a changed workplace due to COVID, worsening health conditions, and continued increases in healthcare costs unhinged from quality.

Julianne McGarry, Catalyst for Payment Reform’s Director of Projects & Research kicked off the program with insight into the trends and opportunities presented with High Performance Networks. Lisa Woods, Walmart’s VP of Physical & Emotional Wellbeing, followed with an overview of their quality-first approach to healthcare for their team. Lisa then dove into their high-performance multi-specialty provider networks and the ongoing benefits they are realizing from that work.

Daniel Stein shined a spotlight on the tremendous opportunity employers have to adjust their network strategies to realize cost savings, achieve better outcomes and influence healthcare change.  Realizing the need for high-quality, transparent data shared with everyone in the healthcare ecosystem – employers, employees, physicians, health systems and plans, Embold Health has opened the black box and is focusing on this important work in Texas and in other geographic areas.
